THE 'ECO-ETHNO'
EXPERIENCE...........
- THE AFRI-LEO FOUNDATION
- is a registered, Namibian-based, non-profit
organisation, dedicated to the conservation and protection of the
wild lion in Namibia (Panthera leo).
The programme includes a short visit to the Environmental
Education Centre, where our guests
are introduced to the works of the AFRI-LEO
FOUNDATION: insight into the farmer-predator
conflict issues along the boundary
of the Etosha National Park, the research
and monitoring programmes and an over-view
of the Lion Sanctuary,
where 6 rescued lion, now have their home.
This afternoon activity is approximately 2 - 3 hrs in length, including
lion viewing from the safety of a hide,
and returning to the Lodge shortly before dark. (for
